The schedule is here! The second running of the Pennsylvania Championship of Online Poker — a.k.a. PACOOP — kicks off in a little over a week! Here are the details.
The 50-event series will take place on PokerStars PA from September 19 through October 5. The 17 days’ worth of tournaments will feature guaranteed prize pools totaling $1.5 million, culminating with the $300 no-limit hold’em, $200,000 guaranteed Main Event on Sunday, Oct. 4.
Buy-ins range from a couple of $20 events all of the way up to a $500 high roller. There is a variety of game types as well, with pot-limit Omaha, pot-limit Omaha hi-lo, no-limit Omaha hi-lo, seven-card stud hi-lo, pot-limit five-card draw, the 8-game mix, and fixed-limit hold’em events all peppered in amid the many NLHE tournaments.
Satellites into PACOOP events will be appearing soon on PokerStars PA. Also, players who bust out of PACOOP events without making the cash receive tickets to special freerolls each of which will be awarding $1,250 in satellite tickets and entries to other PACOOP events. These Second Chance Freerolls will run daily at 6:50 p.m. ET from Sept. 20-Oct. 3, with one more on Oct. 4 at 4:50 p.m. In all the Second Chance Freerolls will be awarding $18,750 in ticket giveaways.
Meanwhile, mark the date — there is a special Main Event Depositor Freeroll happening on Sunday, October 4 at 2 p.m. Players who deposit at least $30 while using the code “PACOOP” at any time up to 1:59 p.m. on Oct. 4 will receive a ticket to the freeroll for which $7,500 in Main Event entries (30 seats) are being added to the prize pool.
