Twitch users will notice a new feature in the PokerStars account from today.

It’s an option that allows you to connect your Stars account to your Twitch account, and take advantage of exclusive activities and giveaways worth tens of thousands of dollars in the process.

That includes two shiny new Platinum Pass packages for the PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC). More on that below.

There will be freeroll tickets to win, and a host of other surprises in December.

And you can also access even more bonuses if you connect your account before the end of the month.

So how do you get started?

Well, if you’re a toss-away-the-instructions-and-get-stuck-in type of player, you can click here and go straight to the setting page in the PokerStars client.

Otherwise read on to find out how to sign up, and take advantage of some incredible giveaways.

How to link your account

Linking your accounts is extremely simple, and take no time at all. And you can do so form whichever device or platform you choose.

Here’s how to connect your account from various places.

• From desktop client
• From PokerStars website
• From iOS
• From Android

From your desktop client:

• Log in to your PokerStars Account on your Desktop Client.
• Select ‘Settings’ on the right-hand side.
• Select ‘Account Details’ on the left-hand side.
• Click on ‘Connected Accounts’.
• Click the green ‘Connect’ Button.
• Log in with your Twitch.tv credentials and click Authorize.

From PokerStars website

• Visit your local PokerStars Webpage and log in with your PokerStars Credentials.
• Select ‘Account’ at the top of the page.
• Select ‘Settings’.
• Select ‘Connected Accounts’.
• Click on the green ‘Connect’ button.
• Log in with your twitch.tv credentials and click Authorize.

From your iOS device

• Log in to your PokerStars Account on the PokerStars iOS App.
• Tap on ‘More’ at the bottom right and then tap on ‘Settings & Tools’.
• Click on ‘Connected Accounts’.
• Click the green ‘Connect’ Button.
• Log in with your Twitch.tv credentials and click Authorize.

• Log in to your PokerStars Account on the PokerStars Android App.
• Tap on three lines at the top left.
• Scroll down and Tap ‘Settings & Tools’.
• Tap on ‘Account’, then on ‘Connected Accounts’.
• Click the green ‘Connect’ Button.
• Log in with your Twitch.tv credentials and click Authorize.

You can also go directly to the relevant page in the client by clicking this link:

That will open the client on the account linking page on both mobile and desktop.

NJ and PA players

If you’re a Pennsylvania or New Jersey PokerStars player, you won’t be able to connect your accounts just yet. Stay tuned for more news on when that will change.

Connect now for exclusive giveaways

And as promised there’s an early giveaway for anyone connecting their accounts between now and December 1.

If you link your account between now and midnight ET on December 1 will be put into a $5,000 All-In shoot out (global) for your region. They will take place on December 2 at 12:00ET.

Then there are those two Platinum Passes.

Between now and December 21 GJ Reggie and Pyeface will be giving away a Platinum Pass each.

To qualify participants need to:

• Link their PokerStars account and Twitch account
• Watch the PokerStars Central channel for 24 hours
• Stream themselves playing on PokerStars for 10 hours

Then on December 23 GJReggie and Pyeface will then pick their two favourite participants based on:

• Entertainment value
• Quality of production
• Innovation

The two winners will be announced on December 23. As well as the Platinum Pass, each winner will receive a stream-ready PC and $1000 added to their PokerStars account.

That’s quite the early Christmas present.
