Virus concerns about our software (Windows)

We run virus and adware checks on our software and servers. This reduces the potential of viruses or adware infecting our software. Always practice safe internet use, be wary of opening links from untrusted sources. Regular virus and adware checks using good quality anti-virus software are also recommended. If you do not have anti-virus software, try a free online scan, such as:

• ESET's Free Online Scanner
• F-Secure's Free Online Scanner

If you are running your own virus software, ensure it is up-to-date.

On adware, check your system is clean using spyware tools, examples of two are:

• Spybot – Search & Destroy
• Super AntiSpyware

Both of the above are free and work well together.

We also recommend performing a registry scan. There are many free programs available that can do this, two popular ones include:

• CCleaner
• BleachBit
