Verdict
STARSPANGLEDANCER (3) made good progress here last season after making the move from NSW and will be even better with more time to acclimatise. She normally takes a run or 2 before hitting her straps but she is resuming right down in the grades and can steal this fresh up. CANADA BAY (6) went off the boil after winning very easily fresh up in her first run in the area in April. She will be a lot stronger in this campaign and can kick things off on a positive note here. JUST FOR MARCUS (1) had been racing well in country West Australia and carried that form through to his first run on this track 5 weeks ago when finishing third. He cops another tricky gate but can still figure in the top 3 placings again. TRICKY MIKKI (4) has been in the money in all of his 3 starts on this track since making the move from Tasmania. He drops back to 1100m and another honest effort can be expected.
