Open race to close out the card. METALART (2) strung four wins together to start the career and has slowly been building up to that sort of form this preparation. Worth noting that Rodd had been in the irons for all four of those victories last campaign and returns to saddle here. Should be going very close. Former NSW galloper TAVS (13) placed over this track and trip in his local debut and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Can feature with natural improvement. OCEANS OF ENERGY (11) is one from one over this course and distance, strips fitter second-up and draws the inside marble. Ticks a few boxes. The well-related BEAUTANTES (3) (half to G1 winner Startantes) is a bit hit or miss but can play a major role if he brings his A-game. CAPTAIN FENKEL (12) got up to Group 2 level when last in work and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise.
