DEFENDING (2) hasn't been disgraced in Saturday grade at Ascot recently and looks well placed in this event with Yuill in the saddle. His record at this trip is a little niggle, but he's racing in good order and he draws well. Just has to run up to his recent form to get the job done. SPECIAL SORT (3) comes into this fresh off one trial and he's unbeaten at this course. He gets 2kg off with ZJP in the saddle and while he's likely to get back, he can be launching late in the race. Makes plenty of appeal. STARRING KNIGHT (4) won two back but couldn't repeat the dose at Ascot most recently. Faithfull is 2/2 when riding and she hops back in the saddle today. Can bounce back to winning ways without surprising. BOMBAY STYLE (1) showed improvement last start and can go again third-up and out to this trip. He's won 2/4 here previously and he will make his presence felt. PATCHWORK (6) can feature from a favourable barrier.
