PROPHET'S PRIDE (5) was two months between runs when a close fourth over this distance at Wagga last start. Handy sprinter who will be better for that outing and with luck from the awkward draw will play a major role. MAJOR TIME (2) led and gave a kick but found one marginally better when resuming over this journey at Canberra recently. Good second-up performer with an outstanding 1000m record over many seasons. Sure to be thereabouts from the ideal gate. AKAKA FALLS (1) will appreciate the step up in trip after a couple of sound efforts this prep over 900m at Newcastle. Honest sprinter with each-way claims. MR MOPPETT (4) has won three from six when fresh so he must be included coming off a five-month lay-off. RUMOURS ABOUND (11) has won 3/6 at this trip and will find this a lot easier than the first-up run at Moonee Valley.
