CASCADE MOUNTAIN (1) saluted at Walcha two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when in contention on the corner before finishing second over 1600m at Quirindi, beaten a neck. Has the talent to take care of this field. SHOWRUNNER (14) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time when he was handy all the way over 1450m at Quirindi. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. JOHNNY BOZ (2) was below his best last time, finishing ninth and beaten 10 lengths over 1600m at Tamworth. This is a nice drop in grade so he will be hard to beat. EAGLESCLIFFE (7) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 6 lengths away in ninth over 1450m at Quirindi. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
