LA FRACAS (8) resumes. He won very nicely on debut at Pakenham over 1200m last time in before tackling a pair of strong city races, not disgraced at all in the Silver Bowl Final at Flemington before a spell. This looks a nice race for him to kick off in. GOBBO'S MATE (5) has won his past three at Wagga and Corowa, dominant last start at BM58 level when scoring by 4.5 lengths. This is harder but he's fully deserving of a crack given the form he's in. ALTRUIST (4) was better last start when back to 1100m at Ararat, beaten under a length. Tricky draw but he has each way claims. ESTRAPAZ (1) resumes. He was racing in better company last time in and certainly has the talent to give this a shake. HOKKAIDO (7) could bob up at odds.
