TAKEKO (4) is racing well this time in, her worst finish a close-up fourth effort here two starts back over 1000m behind the speedy Fickle. She just found one better at Mornington over this trip last time and only needs to hold that level to go awfully close. MERRIGOLD (1) has won her past two, beating Regal Might at Geelong last start which is solid form. If she's left alone in front she can notch up the hat trick. ZADAR SUNSET (9) has been in good form this campaign, finishing a close up fourth to Regal Secret & Takeko last start. She can land in the first couple from the inside gate and figure in the finish. LAVENDER GLORY (8) is a lightly raced filly in her first campaign. She's shown ability and can measure up. THEYCALLMEBRUCE (2) is in the mix back in grade.
