LAPILLI (7) was there to pounce when resuming favourite last start but couldn't go on with it, gathered in final 100m. Better for the run and is sure to be very competitive. GLOBAL TURN (8) closed off nicely into the placings when returning two weeks ago. Is sure to have come on with that run under the belt and is drawn kinder over a longer trip. One of the key chances. WALK LIKE AN ANGEL (3) was too bad to be true first-up when always at the tail. The form around her last campaign stacks up superbly for this and her second-up record is strong. No shock to see her add to it. RUN LIKE HELL (2) failed to fire a shot last start at Moonee Valley after coming through a hot form race at Warrnambool. Worth noting the booking of gun for hire Noel Callow. Don't underestimate.
