LYRICAL ANGEL (12) steps up to 2000m for the first time today after getting a long way back and finishing 4.7L away most recently at Ascot. This is tougher, but her prior figures stack up and out to 2000m now is a tick. She was competitive at Listed level last campaign and she can get back to that level now. CHEYNE BAY (4) was building towards his last start win when beaten 0.2L as favourite at Bunbury, winning over 2038m. The wide draw is a niggle, though he was running on well in his previous runs. Chris Parnham sticks and he can go close. KING'S PARADE (9) is better than he's shown his past couple when finishing behind Cheyne Bay last time out. Suspect he'll be back again from the barrier, but he should be strong at the finish. DESERT EDGE (15) has been right in the finish his past couple and he's drawn nicely. He's a big chance. BEEJAY BOY (7) is racing well and has to be included. He'll give a big sight from on the speed.
