SKYHOOK (4) smart colt desperate to cement his spot in the Golden Slipper after racing without luck in both career runs. Held up along the inside and drove through late for a narrow second over 1200m in the G2 Skyline Stakes at Randwick. Back to his home track and ready to win. COMEDY (2) was behind him last time. Ready to peak and the blinkers come off after chipping away late in that Skyline. Had excuses and don't dismiss from the gate. KILMAN (7) got all the breaks on debut when a sharp win over 1100m at Warwick Farm. Has further upside and the booking of Blake Shinn is a positive. EXTRACTOR (3) away slowly and never a winning prospect when eleventh in the G1 Blue Diamond over 1200m at Caulfield. Will sit off the good tempo today from the draw and look for him late. Clearly tougher for STATE VISIT (12) and perhaps the gate does him no favours but he has obvious scope to improve off a debut win.
