Not much winning done by this small field recently. That said, NIGHT ENDEAVOR (5) looks well placed. He's had three runs in Australia, improving markedly getting to 2000m at Flemington last time out when third in this grade. He was a winner over 2400m in France prior to coming here and should go close. FIRST IMMORTAL (2) comes through the same race at Flemington as Night Endeavour, working home well for a bunched eighth. He hasn't really fired this time in but had promised plenty in the past and could be ready to show his best at this trip. BELTORO (6) finished fifth in the same BM100 at Flemington. He's never been tried over 2400m but this doesn't look a particularly strong staying test. LE DON DE VIE (1) was a bit better last time and his best would win this if he could find it. FAME (3) can improve getting to 2400m.
