HALLE BEE (9) ended a long sequence of minor placings with a fourth last start over this course and distance when she led for home. Drops 4kgs after the claim under today's scale. Has had a load of chances but she is as good as any of these and must win one sooner or later. HINUNE (4) tackled this trip for the first time last start at Bathurst and caught the eye in the final stages, rattling home for a close second. Sparingly raced filly who keeps improving and will be tough to hold out again. APHELION (1) was backed off the map on debut back in July at Muswellbrook but found one better in the heavy going. Recent trial winner who looks sure to make a positive return with Bullock in the saddle. THE MANAGER (6) has improved this prep since switching to Neasham/Archibald. Good effort last time in a tougher maiden at Scone. Major player at the third run back. GIGATON (8) has been awful at his last two but a tongue tie going on may tell the story. Worth one more chance.
