PokerStars Rewards is changing for the better. Here's a summary of the biggest changes.
Why are you making these changes?
It was time for a change. The new rewards scheme is clearer, easier to understand, and better tailored to players' needs.
What stays the same?
We keep the basics. So, the overall program format and composition remain the same.
- You'll still receive rewards in Chests after you complete progress bars of a certain level.
- Reward Points also stay the same. As before, you'll get them by generating rake in our Poker games.
- There are still six increasing Chest Levels represented by different colors, with the option to upgrade and downgrade.
- The Exchange Feature has survived.
- As before, you can track your progress through the PokerStars Rewards widget on our mobile or desktop app.
What is going to change?
With the overall program structure remaining, we focused on value and requirements.
- We've raised the number of Reward Points you need for all Chest Levels.
- At the same time, we've increased the Chest values, so you'll get higher reward percentages.
- Plus, we'll give all rewards out as cash.
- Only Poker is in scope for the new program, while Casino and Sports have been outsourced from PokerStars Rewards.
- We'll no longer credit Reward Points for Casino gameplay and Sports betting.
- Instead, Casino and Sports players will get additional promotions specific to them, so they can expect more value than ever before.
- The number of Chest levels you need to level up has been aligned to five for each level (as opposed to the previous cumulative approach).
What about side offers?
We've also refreshed the PokerStars Rewards related offers.
- We've updated Early Bird Zoom (where it's available) by reducing the multiplier from 3X to 2X.
- This happened as a result of the increased reward percentages.
- As players now get much better value within the rewards system, it's not viable for us to retain the 3X multiplier.
- We've discontinued the Weekly Poker Challenges (where they were available).
- While on these changes, we decided the time has come to end this offer.
- We moved the budget back into our main loyalty offering, increasing the rewards percentages.
- We've introduced PokerStars Select (+). These are our new elite levels for high-volume players.
- We decided to add these extra tiers, topping the six regular levels.
- Players moved to PokerStars Select (+) have dedicated requirements and rakeback schemes.
What about promotions outside of PokerStars Rewards?
They're not affected by these changes. But we'd like to highlight a few things:
- We'll move some budget over to fund new, exciting promotions for Casino and Sports players.
- Look forward to some nice surprises.
- You'll have plenty of opportunities to win extra prizes with our upcoming promotional offer.
- We'll further boost our popular Power Path offer, giving away more tickets than ever through all kinds of campaigns.
- You'll be in for a real treat with this one.
- Check out our Power Path website and start your journey to the biggest live and online events.
