PERFECT BETH (10) is a sparingly raced filly back from a 38-week spell and has transferred from WA to the David O'Prey stable. Won on debut last prep over 1000m at Ascot. Betting the key but on her figures in the maiden prep she will be highly competitive. COOEE (7) raced here twice and won both times in the maiden prep. Resumed last start over a similar trip at Wagga where he finished a close third after vying for the lead for much of the race under a big weight. Big chance with the help of an ideal draw. SHEILA (3) just missed two back at Wagga then got too far out of her ground at Penola last time. Steps up in trip today which suits. Twice a winner here and is well-placed to add to that tally. The consistent BRENLYN'S DAISY (1) comes here off a 45-day let-up. Good fresh performer with a decent record at this sort of trip. In the mix. CHASING A QUID (5) returned to form at Wagga last start and is worth consideration.
