OUR MATE ARCHIE (2) has just missed in his past couple at 1400m here, the latest in stronger company than this, beaten 0.4L. Pike now hops in the saddle having won 2/3 when partnering the gelding. While he may get back in the run, he can swoop down the outside and return to winning ways. PERFECT CHANT (11) stormed home in the Millions 3YO Trophy to finish 1.4L off the winner in a strong effort. Chris Parnham hops back in the saddle now. Still has plenty of upside and if she can improve into this, she'll be hard to hold out. NICELY PLAYED (12) bolted in two back before a 1L victory at Belmont over 1000m last start. This is tougher, but the rise to 1200m doesn't appear an issue. Should be up on the speed and give a bold sight. LOST CITY (8) is better than she showed first-up and is unbeaten second-up in the past. Must be included. CATCH THE RED EYE (5) was far too good at Bunbury last start and has strong claims on that effort.
