ACAPPELLA SUN (5) caught the eye when resuming over 1100m here two runs back then went to Canberra last Friday and recorded a barnstorming win in open company over this distance. Has a strong third-up record so she is a winning hope again. WEEPING WOMAN (8) led and defied all challengers to take out an 1100m BM72 here a fortnight ago. Still has improvement to come at the third run of the prep so stick with her. PHOTOGRAPH (4) returns from a twenty-eight-week break for Godolphin. Lightly raced filly who opened last prep with a convincing win at Scone then repeated the dose at Sandown. Two trials should have her ready to run well. HALLETT (3) for Waterhouse/Bott is back from a 170-day break. Kicked off last prep with a decent performance in the Group Two Silver Shadow. Has the class to test this field. MAGNUCAT (12) is up in class but strips fitter after two runs back and won't know herself with 54.5kgs.
