STATICE (9) clearly on top. She's a filly by Brutal who looked very smart on debut at Seymour. She only beat four rivals there over 1000m when leading throughout but did it very easily as a $1.90 favourite, scoring by four lengths. Drawn the inside for Shinn, she can hunt up and prove too quick again. ENRIGHT (7) won his maiden nicely two back at Mornington with the form out of that race holding up well. He was close up last time in a Class 1, beaten 0.6 lengths. He should give a sight. HAMPTON PALACE (3) has been around the mark in two runs since a fresh win at Hamilton. Lane goes on and he should give a sight. MR TICKLES (5) is a consistent type who can get into the finish. MAXIMUM POWER (4) next best.
