FLYING EMBERS (10) came from near the tail to get up in the last stride as even-money favourite last start in a 1200m Newcastle maiden. Progressive filly who will appreciate the slightly longer trip and will be tough to hold out again. BINDI'S CHOICE (1) closed well but never looked like getting subsequent Four Pillars winner Kingston Charm over 1500m here three weeks ago. Very fit mare who is down a little in class today and should be rock hard fit after three runs back. MISS SPACEGIRL (11) started favourite and got the job done on debut over 1200m at Canberra recently. Big step up today but she gets the ace run from gate one and is open to plenty of improvement. ONE LAST SHOT (3) returned with a tough maiden win over this course and distance four weeks back. Genuine gelding who can go on with it now. MONTE SUPREME (2) wasn't all that far away in a Randwick Midway last start and she should be cherry-ripe now at the fourth run in.
