AD ASTRA (7) resumes and looks very well placed to score. She ran twice in her maiden campaign, just finding one better on both occasions, the debut effort at Listed level at Morphettville before a narrow defeat as favourite at Murray Bridge. She's won a trial leading in and the stable are very smart with the ones they bring to Melbourne. MISS CLAMOROSA (8) ran well on debut at Kilmore on heavy ground, sticking on nicely for second, beaten under a length. Better for that and dry ground could suit even better. ROCKIN' AT MIDNITE (9) has had a few chances but isn't racing poorly, placing in her past three. She took on a BM64 last time at this track and trip so back to maiden grade naturally looks suitable. BELNERA (2) has placed in her past couple and won't need to improve much to go close.
