TARVUE (8) bounced back from an even run at Sale fresh to win well at Pakenham over 1600m last time out, beating a consistent horse in Pacific Cross. She's bred to stay so getting to 2040m suits ideally but it is worth noting she has equicast on. EXPEETEE (5) won well over this track and distance last time out, proving too tough and going on to score by 1.75 lengths. She only needs to hold that form to be going close again. STEPCHILD (2) is knocking on the door with three minor placings in a row, good behind the smart Enxuto at Sandown Lakeside last time out. Out to 2040m here can suit and he should take beating. EYE FOR AN EYE (3) was disqualified at Mornington last time. He's lightly raced and can bounce back. LYGON STREET LUIGI (4) next best.
