THREW (4) missed a whisker here twice over this trip and then got too far back at Wyong. He is much better suited today and maps well. HOT GOSPEL (5) stepped up to this distance range at Dubbo and finished it off well winning a 58. Stays down in the weights and will enjoy a soft run. BUFF IN DISGUISE (3) found a distant placing at Newcastle but reckon his chances on the 65 win at Canberra prior over 2125m. That would see him right in the finish. ROMAN HANDS (1) races forward but he didn't run it out over two miles at Wagga. He was beaten a whisker there prior over 2500m from the front. He's back plenty in trip but can't be ruled out.
