Verdict

CHILLI CRAB (11) has trialled up okay on two occasions and did improve into the second of them. Nicely drawn and she's sure to be competitive first-up. VIACONI (3) looks the one to beat on exposed form and he opened in the market before drifting when unplaced at Canterbury. Easier here and open to improvement. SIR TOM (2) is a consistent type who is worth another chance after beaten as favourite at Muswellbrook. Each-way again. QUEEN CALANTHE (8) can be thereabouts and a watch on TORENDOSETTA (13) on debut.
