Although his strike rate is poor PAPAVER MINER (8) appeals in this modest BM58. Led for home but was cut down at the furlong and missed the placings last Sunday in a Class 4 over 1200m at Nowra. Carries the same weight in a far easier race. Nice chance at odds. The flying HELLUVA TEEN (1) has led all the way to win her last two, the latest in this grade over 950m at Cowra. Likely to control things again. Not proven in the going but should give them something to catch. PRINCESS HALO (2) made a mid-race move then battled on well for second here at this trip recently. Distance specialist who handles the going so don't rule her out. HOLD (3) was poor last time over 1200m here. Both her wins have come on rain affected tracks at 1000m so this race looks a nice fit. Market watch on KENYAN CHARM (5) first-up from a thirty-one-week spell.
