LITTLE SANDY (9) returns from a ten-week spell and is now with local trainer Helen Burns. Has opened both previous campaigns with minor placings. Well in with the claim in a plain looking race so she is a great chance to make an immediate impact. GLOCK (1) was ridden hard to lead then battled on well to be beaten just two lengths last start over 1000m at Bendigo. Should go forward again from the nice draw and is sure to give backers a great sight. THE WAYFARER (2) continued the strong recent form when in the money over 1000m at Broken Hill a fortnight ago. Genuine veteran with two placings from three runs at this track and distance. Must be considered. FROWNED (7) was far too good in a weaker race over 1200m at Mildura last time out. Capable of another forward showing from an inside draw. TOOKAY PETE (6) was beaten by a bad gate at Seymour last start. Can bounce back from a better alley this time.
