GOODNIGHT ROMEO (2) had a couple of fair trials before making his debut and finishing runner-up at big odds on this track 8 days ago. He has another good draw and won't have an issue going from 1000m to 1200m. He will be hard to hold out but don't expect any fancy price this time. BINGHAMTON (1) had his first start in North Queensland here 8 days ago and needed the run, finishing fourth as a short-priced favourite. A wide draw is the only thing preventing him from being top pick and he will be right in the finish this time. BRANDS (3) has been in the money in both of his last starts at Emerald and has Warwick Satherley in the saddle this time. He has a tricky gate and an extra furlong won't be a problem. Each way. PRIDEOFTHEBIGFISH (7) joined the local stable of Joanna Hassett before the start of the season and ran his best race yet fresh-up on this track just over 2 weeks ago, finishing second. He will continue to improve and is worth including in all combinations.
