MicroMillions: All the games, all the buy-ins
MicroMillions returns to PokerStars this month for more frantic action with tiny buy-ins yet huge guarantees. You can read all about it, and check out the schedule, in our MicroMillions launch post.
When the buy-ins are so small, players can perhaps experiment with games they wouldn’t normally play, knowing that the bankroll is not going to be damaged too significantly should things go awry. That’s why tournament organisers pack the MicroMillions schedule with all kinds of variants. This is a great chance to get to grips with all those games you’d been meaning to try but hadn’t yet found the opportunity.
ALL THE GAMES
There are 208 tournaments on the MicroMillions schedule, 26 of which are in non-hold’em variants. There’s pot-limit Omaha, obviously (three tournaments), but there’s also Razz, Showtime hold’em, Stud, 2-7 Single and Triple Draw, 6+, Badugi, Fusion and Courcheval, plus some mixed games rotations.

There are also variations within the variations. For instance, there’s a Heads-Up Zoom TKO PLO tournament, plus some hi/lo Stud and PLO tournaments, and some 5-Card variants too.

ALL THE BUY-INS
Buy-ins during this year’s MicroMillions range from $1.10 to $55, with the latter the clear outlier. It’s the High Roller event, where there’s also a $20K guarantee.
The Main Event has a $22 buy-in (and a $500K guarantee) but the vast majority of tournaments are pitched are far smaller bankrolls.
Approximately half of the tournaments have a buy-in of $3.30 or lower, and $5.50 gets you into most of the other ones.
