COLEMAN (1) has a clear ratings edge on these and just needs to run something like his best to be taking it out. Two starts back he was second to Switzerland at Group 2 level with that horse dominant the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes since. Coleman was midfield there but looks very much suited getting to 1400m now at set weights. PISCES (3) ran on very nicely fresh in the G3 Red Anchor Stakes at Moonee Valley behind Bittercreek, which ties in with Coleman through the Coolmore. He looks very well suited getting to 1400m and McDonald sticks. CATOGGIO (4) led throughout at big odds at Flemington and will take catching from the inside gate. MANOS (5) comes down from Sydney in good form and could measure up.
