TRICKETEER (1) was a solid winner of his penultimate start here before finishing a brave fourth on this track 18 days ago when he was found to have cut his tongue during the running which would have made things very uncomfortable for him. That issue will be behind him now and he will again be hard to hold out. JUNGLE BEAT (2) has not quite lived up to expectations this season after winning a trial by over 4 lengths. He is down in class from his last run and will have no excuses with his fitness fourth up. He is worth one more chance. ROC DE RUSSIAN (6) has found it hard to win another race and has been thereabouts in 5 starts on this track since making the move from Victoria. He resumes from a spell and cops a nice draw.
