SAVATOFF (7) made an encouraging return when second over 1400m but then disappointed last time out. Will relish the step up in distance here third-up and in a stable that should have him ready to strike here. IRVING AGAIN (1) was a huge run last start when beaten in a photo finish and is another who will appreciate getting to 2050m with the benefit of three runs back from a spell. MAGGIE'S SON (2) conversely, drops back in trip and was a winner at 2000m the start prior. That was maiden grade, so this is tougher than that, but looks to be going well. WISE LEGEND (3) does not know how to run a poor race but finds it tough to win, so much go in exotics. TEN DOWNING STREET (8) is another who is rarely far away and will find this easier than some other recent outings.
