Faces his stiffest test to date after demolishing inferior opposition over 1250m at Randwick Kensington on October 30. Will sit off the good tempo and launch late. ROYAL MERCHANT (5) holding her form in fillies and mares company with the big weights and looks a leading player here with 54.5kg. Failed to pick up the speedy Belclare when fifth in the G2 The Invitation at Randwick over the 1400m last start. Respect. COAL CRUSHER (2) won this race last year and go on his gutsy second in the G3 Sydney Stakes over 1200m at Randwick two back when assessing his chances. Stays in the mix.
