Strips much fitter now and will prove hard to run down with the claim in this easier contest. SASSEN (10) handy mare with the two wins from 10 starts. Beat a strong field first-up from the wide gate, then drifted again from the wide draw when a fast finishing third at the Sapphire Coast over 1200m on December 2. This looks easier and she should get the right tempo. ANNOUNCING (3) racing well in stronger company and will appreciate Dalton's 3kg claim. Returned good splits late when a smart second over 1200m at Canberra on November 24. Look for her late.
