Siding with BOSSY BENITA (7) who hit the line in some attractive splits first up at Mornington over 1000m, finding the line from back in the small field to grab second, beaten 0.8 lengths. Like her getting to 1200m second up on the bigger track. ILLUMINANCE (6) is a frustrating conveyance with eight second placings from 12 starts, running in a heat of this series over 1400m last start and finding the talented Yachiyo too smart, again finishing second. She'll knock one off eventually. ALERO (13) has had two runs back from a spell, putting in a much better effort out to this trip at Mornington last time. Any further improvement sees him in the finish. SOUTH HOBA (12) resumes. She's having her first run for the Bedggood yard, formerly in WA. The debut at Pinjarra was solid, watch the betting. ENUFF BRICKS (1) next best.
