ZOUPURRING (2) looks well placed. The fresh run at Cranbourne in a BM70 behind Vail Mountain was good, starting $5.50 at Flemington next time out and just battling. Comes back a notch here, draws ideally and gets his chance. JAZZCLUB (6) is a lightly raced three-year-old who has been around the mark without threatening in two runs back from a spell. They've been in handy races and getting to 1400m third up from a good draw can see further improvement. PRINCESS MONTECITO (9) can mix her form but was good over this route last start in a similar race, finishing third. She should be afforded every chance from the draw and can figure. FLASHBANG (3) was a smart winner at Kilmore when last seen in BM58 grade. Harder here but he can hit the line well. ORION THE HUNTER (1) drops in grade which could spark improvement.
