NOTHINGELSEMATTERS (8) resumed with a good run at Mornington over 1500m, only beaten 1.75 lengths in a bunched finish but finding the line well from last on the turn. Only gets an extra 100m here but should have taken fitness improvement and he is still lightly raced. WASCALY (1) was beaten half a length in a similar race here last time out having been competitive in some decent races prior. A repeat of last start has him right in the finish again. GAWNSKI (5) was well supported fresh at Kilmore and found the line well off a seven-month spell, finishing second. He doesn't win many but should be fitter and has the figures to challenge. EIGHT GORILLAS (10) has upside coming off a maiden win at Mornington over 1500m. No surprise to see her measure up at each way odds. BRANDNU DEAL (4) won his maiden comfortably at Camperdown first up and might be able to go on with it here.
