PRIVALOVA (10) is a lightly raced filly who won well fresh at Kilmore before a solid effort at Moonee Valley last time, only beaten 1.75 lengths into fourth. She's open to plenty more improvement and can take plenty of catching here. PARADISE CITY (2) will find this easier than recent runs, not far away in a very bunched finish at Sandown Lakeside last time, unsuited by being back in the field off a slow tempo there. This looks more suitable. ROYAL INVADER (7) was poor fresh at Mornington but has trialled in the interim and her best form reads very well for this. MATAWAI (1) resumes having won fresh in the past. Her form last time in was against good opposition and this suits. THE NEGOTIATOR (4) can run into the minor money.
