The one to beat. CEOLWULF (1) resumes after taking out the G1 Epsom Hcp and King Charles III Stks in devastating style last prep. Yet to win in four first-up attempts but liked the way he ran through the line when a recent 1000m trial winner. Will go back from the draw and need things to go his way late. FANGIRL (6) good fresh mare who resumes from a mixed prep. Via Sistina had her measure first-up in the Winx and doubt she can turn the tables here. Won't want it too wet from the low draw. Place best. LINDERMANN (3) another of the Waller runners who looks wound up for this with the two sharp trials. Can go to the front and give plenty of cheek. ATISHU (7) courageous mare resuming. Will drift back from the outside gate and hit the line late.
