Freshened up and it is worth noting he was beaten just a long neck at Hawkesbury at this stage last prep. Can improve enough to take this out. PHOENIX POWER (4) found the line well but was never a winning hope last time out over 1200m at Coffs Harbour. Fitter for three runs back from a break and looks ready for his first crack at the mile. CUP OF AMBITION (6) is still chasing a win after twenty-two attempts. Hasn't been far away at her last couple, both over 1400m at Scone. Each-way chance. FASTNET WARRIOR (7) ran the best race of his brief career when an eye-catching third recently over 1400m at this track. Will be tough to hold out over the extra furlong. ACIREALE JAYNE (11) was back in form last start and is worth including in exotics.
