SHIRVINGTON (6) resumes a gelding after fading late on debut when fifth over 900m at Newcastle 11 months ago. Fitted with two slick trials and expected to go close despite drawing out. PREDICTING (5) shuffled back from the inside gate on debut and never looked a serious threat when seventh at Newcastle over 900m on January 25. Fitter now and stays in the mix.
