ESSENTRIC NATURE (6) rattled home from a long way back over 1200m last start, beaten 1L in an eye catching effort. Now third-up and out in distance which looks to suit and he gets Pike in the saddle today. Still an improving type and he can return to winning ways. CAVALLO RED (5) has been right around the mark this time in, beaten 0.9L over 1400m last time out. 1500m doesn't look an issue, though he is likely to get back from the barrier. Should be storming home late in the race. SAIL SESSION (11) got the job done as favourite 45 days ago when winning over 1800m. Looks to be on a Derby path and he can turn in a bold effort. OUR ROCKY BAY (4) hasn't been far away recently and he can make his presence felt.
