SAXON SLAYER (2) has raced twice this prep, both times at 1200m, and found the line well on each occasion without threatening. Down in grade today and needs this sort of trip now. Looks the one to beat despite 61.5kgs from a wide alley. REVONTULET (7) was shuffled back to near the tail and failed to improve last time out in a Class 1 over this distance at Coffs Harbour. Has raced at Ballina twice for two minor placings. Deserves another chance. The consistent BOWDARCIE (1) missed the frame for the first time in five runs when fourth over 1315m at Coffs Harbour recently. Gets a lovely run from the favourable draw and should be in the finish. FAT FINGERS (6) is in the mix with blinkers back on.
