HOLLYWOOD ACE (1) showed great improvement for a canny conditioner last time in, winning two of five, so should have come on even further from the break which was backed up by a recent second placing in a Cranbourne jumpout containing horses tiers above this grade (Katsu, Mrs Chrissie among them). Well-placed to resume with a win. AMINATU (2) is a regular in these sorts of races and although mixing form of late, he is coming off a poor showing last time out. LOVING MANDY (3), conversely, is an improver who returned with a win and looks to have plenty of upside. SHAMROCK BAY (4) beat home MARBILLA (5) last time at Caulfield's Heath track but they both have claims.
