Interesting race where a few lightly-raced types clash with some in-form, experienced gallopers. MINTMAN (4) is one of the latter group who was well-held last start, but that was on a Heavy 9 track and wasn't beaten far in a similar class of race to this the start prior. Only other start this campaign realised a maiden victory. DELUSIONALDICTATOR (1) has been good in two runs across two campaigns and while he only beat home in his latest Cranbourne jumpout he went to the line with a bit in hand. PANO'S PRIDE (6) trotted in first-up in maiden grade and while beaten last start in easier grade than this, it was on a Heavy 10 track, so likely to appreciate firmer footing here. MASTER OF MISCHIEF (8) has been competitive in two handy races this time in and should be ready to peak. MYTEMPTATION (2) won comfortably on debut when a short-priced favourite and while this is a rise in grade he looks to have plenty of upside.
