SGHIRRIPA (2) ran a great race fresh in Adelaide, carrying 61kg and closing off beautifully for third to Press Down, beaten 1.5 lengths. He meets that horse 5kg better at the weights and holds a peak rating at this track and distance. ARKANSAW KID (1) was too strong winning the G2 Bobbie Lewis here last time out. Up in the weights now but doesn't look poorly in, he can win again. MAGIC TIME (4) resumes. She's the best horse in the race and a G1 winner last time in. She's got a good fresh record, a good 1200m record and did start a well-backed $5 chance in a Newmarket to beat Imperatriz earlier this year.
