Competitive. STENSON WALLMAN (3) resumes and has switched from a NSW yard. Missed a nose at Tamworth when last seen and is proven fresh. His latest trial was sharp and he can use the inside barrier. The blinkers are first-time applied signalling intent. BARASSI (1) trialled well and he was expected to win here first up but was swamped after a slow start. Had come off a 6.5L trial win and has plenty up the sleeve. He will skip across to the speed and the local deserves another chance. NIGHTSTICK (9) resumes and is good on the fresh side. Has pieces of form that would see him competitive and he benefits from a 3kg claim. Maps well and keep onside.
