PARTY FOR TWO (3) led for home in the 1400m Sunshine Coast Cup at her last outing seven weeks ago but failed to finish off. Strong fresh performer with a fine record at this distance. Major player off that let-up from an ideal gate. New Tony Gollan acquisition MIGHTY (13) last raced when a barnstorming winner over 1000m at Sandown six weeks ago. Was beaten only 1.5 lengths in the Listed Lightning in Adelaide last prep so she looks beautifully in with 52kgs. Stablemate LIQUOR (2) returned from a five-month spell with a gutsy all-the-way win over this distance at Ipswich recently. Should hold that form second-up. Jones has won six from nine aboard the mare so she looks sure to be a force again. The class runner is CHINNY BOOM (1) back from a twenty-one-week break for a new stable. Has won four from six when resuming and has a win and two placings at stakes level. Trialling the house down so must be respected. TECTONIC PLATE (4) is racing well and must go in the exotics.
