RATHORAN (10) took a long while but finally broke his maiden last start, digging deep to get home by half a length over this distance at Tamworth. Going to new levels this prep and is good enough to test this field. CUTEPI (6) wasn't beaten far but looked a shade disappointing on face value at Tamworth recently when the blinkers were removed. Kris Lees has opted to refit the shades so it will be no surprise to see the filly back to her best. SPRING EAGLE (3) wasn't the best away and did a good job to be beaten under two lengths when resuming here last start. Loves this track and should give a good account again. RUM DIARY (9) wasn't as effective on the Gold Coast poly last time. Worth another chance back on the turf.
