HIGHLAND GEORGE (7) was only bloused right on the line after leading at Echuca last time out a fortnight ago and will be spot-on for this third up. A wide draw will make things tougher but he is down in class and should go one better. PHAROAHZANO (8) ran on too late after settling further back than expected last start and he could well prefer a firmer surface as well. The McEvoy team has a good record when they travel to the country and this gelding can have a say in the finish this time. ACESALLROUND (1) is resuming from a spell and will want more ground but he should still be running on. Include in all combinations.
